More about my approach

I use a person-centered approach

By using a person-centered approach, I ensure to create a safe, collaborative space where you — the client — are at the center of the healing process. This approach is grounded in the belief that you are the expert of your own life, and that meaningful change happens when you're deeply heard, accepted, and supported.

I do not position myself as the "fixer", but as a warm, empathetic presence who walks alongside you. Their role is to help you reconnect with your inner strengths, explore your truth, and make sense of your experiences at your own pace.

I approach sessions with creativity and curiosity

I creativity and curiosity in a session to meet my client with openness and flexibility, exploring thoughts and emotions in ways that go beyond traditional talk. Through gentle questions, metaphors, storytelling, or expressive tools like drawing or writing, I invite new perspectives and helps clients access deeper layers of their experience. This playful, nonjudgmental approach fosters insight, self-expression, and the freedom to imagine new possibilities for growth and healing.

I use an integrative approach during sessions

I draw from multiple therapeutic theories and techniques to best support each client’s unique needs, personality, and goals — rather than relying on a single method or framework.

This flexibility allows me to adapt in the moment, honoring what resonates most with the client. The goal is to meet the whole person — mind, body, and emotions — with a tailored, compassionate, and effective approach.

I offer a safe and non-judgemental space:

I create a safe and nonjudgmental space by offering empathy, acceptance, and respect for each client’s unique experience. Through active listening, unconditional positive regard, and a calm, open presence, I foster trust and emotional safety. Clients are encouraged to move at their own pace, free from pressure or criticism, and are supported in expressing their thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment. By honoring confidentiality, maintaining clear boundaries, and practicing cultural humility, I provide a grounded, compassionate environment where healing and self-discovery can unfold.

I bring authenticity and active listening

I use authenticity in sessions by showing up as a real, present, and emotionally attuned human being — not just a professional role. This means being genuine my responses, transparent when appropriate, and emotionally honest while still maintaining healthy boundaries. I do my best to model openness, humility, and self-awareness. By being grounded and congruent, I invite the client to also be real — creating a trusting relationship where vulnerability, honesty, and deeper connection can safely emerge. Authenticity helps make therapy feel relational, not transactional.

I engage in regular supervision and continuous learning:

Regular supervision and continuous learning help me grow both professionally and personally. Supervision provides support, feedback, and ethical guidance, allowing me to reflect on my work, process emotional challenges, and strengthen my clinical skills. Ongoing learning keeps me informed about new research, approaches, and culturally responsive practices, helping me adapt to the unique needs of each client. Together, these practices foster humility, self-awareness, and a commitment to providing safe, effective, and compassionate care.
